Info - Grade Designations
ACS - A high quality product that meets or exceeds the specifications as listed in Reagent Chemicals published by the American Chemical Society
Lab - An intermediate quality product suitable product for general applications or educational purposes, but the impurities may not be specified or quantified.
USP - Meets or exceeds the requirements of the US Pharmacopeia
NF - Meets or exceeds the requirements of the National Formulary
BP - Meets or exceeds the requirements of the British Pharmacopeia
FCC - Meets or exceeds the requirements of the Food Chemicals Codex
Reagent - High purity chemicals suitable for use in many analytical and general laboratory applications
Purified - Defines chemicals of good quality where there are no official standards
Practical - Relatively high quality but may contain small amounts of impurities
Technical - Designates chemicals of selected commercial or industrial quality
