This set is specifically designed to meet the requirements of the classroom. It can be used to introduce the concepts of acids and bases and pH by demonstration and by student exercises. The rainbow of bright color changes provides a visual reinforcement for the abstract and mathematical concepts involved in the experimental procedures.

The Hydrion Classroom pH Set features wide range pH paper (pH 1-12) in a new demonstration size. These 1" x 10" strips are clearly visible to the rear of the classroom. A generous supply of the same test paper for student use (1/4" x 2" strips) and extra color charts are included.

The Hydrion Classroom pH Set provides a universal indicator solution complete with it's own color chart. This concentrated indicator solution is useful in the teaching of titration, end points and their relation to pH. The indicator solution is excellent for both direct observation and projection demonstrations.

The set also contains a package buffer salt mixture for each unit pH value from 2 to 11. These dissolve easily to make a pint of solution of precise pH value. The solutions are valuable adjuncts for the demonstration of colormetric readings and buffer action.
