SOLUTIONS THAT HAVE LOW IONIC CONTENT SHOULD BE CHECKED WITH OUR LO ION TEST KITS. A SIMPLE DIP AND READ pH PAPER WILL GENERALLY READ ERRANTLY LOWER THAN THE TRUE pH VALUE OF LOW IONIC SOLUTIONS. THIS LOW READING IS CAUSED BY THE INDICATOR IONS IN THE pH PAPER OVERRIDING THE IONS IN THE SAMPLE SOLUTION.

Our Hydrion Lo Ion Test Kits will give accurate pH readings for the following solutions: Tap Water, Distilled Water, Pond and Fresh Waters, Condensates, Untreated Boiler Waters and any solutions with less than 1000 ppm of Dissolved Solids.

A sample of about 10 ml. is required for the Macro Lo Ion Test. The test is simple, clear and accurate.
